Clever Ideas and Smart Features:

A Helping Hand.

The Shadowlift™ elevates your shade to a new level. The high-performance umbrella has no old-school crank handles, no cables and no holding pins. We’ve designed the Serenity™ to be the new standard in shade and the gas-strut technology is the muscle behind the system. It works by taking the weight of the umbrella for you. In traditional umbrellas, that weight is been left up to cables and pullies hidden inside the mast of an umbrella. This poses a risk to your shade system because under strain and repetition they wear down and won’t be covered by warranty. We don’t want our customers to get let down by old school thinking so we’ve removed all these risky bits.

Make Quick Work of Shade.

ShadowGlide™ is the patented carriage system which tracks the length of the mast when deploying your Serenity™ umbrella. ShadowGlide™ utilises 9 different wheels which contact on the front and back of the internal extrusion channel, unlike other umbrella systems which often only have a single roller. ShadowGlide™ has a patented internal auto locking system, which locks the canopy at the correct height. A simple click of the button is all you need to glide the umbrella back down to its stored position. Intuitive, time-saving and far superior to awkward locking procedures which slip if they're not tight.

Rotate Your Way to Perfect Shade.

The ShadowLock™ is activated via a subtle push catch mechanism that keeps your Shadowspec Serenity™ Umbrella in place. From here you can rotate your umbrella with ease to follow the sun as it moves across the sky. The base has 8 different locking positions to keep your umbrella secure. In addition to facilitating full rotation of the umbrella, the ShadowLock™ also features a clever security screw to ensure your umbrella stays where you want it to.

 

The Power of Light.

The Shadowspec smart-battery is controlled by your smartphone via the new Shadowspec App. The lighting system provides bright light that can be used for reading or dimmed down to evoke a classy mood. The app comes with some great tools such as:

  •    Dimmable
  •    Countdown timer
  •    On/ Off

The Shadowhub features a built-in  48 LED light. Running off of a powerful Lithium smart battery provides light between 4-8 hours depending on the brightness setting you choose.
